Warriors Dominate Kings in Game 7, Advance to Second Round
Warriors Take Series 4-3 with Convincing Victory
The Golden State Warriors closed out their first-round series against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night with a convincing 120-100 victory in Game 7. Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors with a game-high 50 points, a Game 7 record for the franchise.
Curry's Historic Night Propels Warriors
Curry's performance was nothing short of remarkable. The two-time MVP shot 20-of-38 from the field, including 7-of-18 from three-point range. He also dished out 10 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds. Curry's scoring outburst was particularly impressive considering that he had been struggling with a foot injury in recent games.
With his 50-point performance, Curry became just the second player in NBA history to score at least 50 points in a Game 7. The other player to accomplish the feat was Michael Jordan in the 1993 NBA Finals.
