Indiana Fever Bring on New Coaching Staff
Christie Sides Named Head Coach
The Indiana Fever have appointed Christie Sides as their ninth head coach in franchise history. Sides, who has a wealth of experience in both the WNBA and NCAA, will lead the Fever into the 2023 season and beyond.
Assistant Coaches Announced
In addition to Sides' appointment, the Fever have also hired two new assistant coaches: Caitlin Clark and Katie Smith. Clark joins the team from the University of Iowa, where she served as an assistant coach for three seasons. Smith, a former WNBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist, brings over two decades of playing and coaching experience to Indianapolis.
