Brown Stays In Boston With 304 Million Supermax Contract

Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Gets Maxed Out

Brown Stays in Boston with 304 Million Supermax Contract

Agreement Reportedly Worth 304 Million for Five Years

Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown has reportedly agreed to a massive five-year, 304 million supermax extension with the team, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal is expected to keep Brown in Boston through the 2027-28 season.

Brown, 26, has emerged as one of the best young players in the NBA since being drafted by the Celtics with the No. 3 overall pick in 2016. He has averaged 21.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game over the course of his career.

Last season, Brown helped lead the Celtics to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games. He averaged 23.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in the playoffs.

Brown's new contract is the largest in Celtics history. It also makes him one of the highest-paid players in the NBA.

The Celtics are hoping that Brown will help them contend for another NBA championship in the years to come. He is one of the cornerstones of their young core, which also includes Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Robert Williams III.
