But The Duke Of Sussex Was Granted Permission To Serve Murdoch With Legal Papers

Harry Loses Bid to Name Murdoch in Hacking Claim

But the Duke of Sussex was granted permission to serve Murdoch with legal papers

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in the news a lot lately

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines for their bombshell Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," in which they have made a number of allegations against the royal family. In one episode, Harry claimed that the media mogul Rupert Murdoch had hacked his phone. However, a High Court judge has now ruled that Harry cannot name Murdoch in his hacking claim.

The judge ruled that there was "no real prospect" of Harry winning his case against Murdoch, and that naming him in the claim would only serve to "prejudice" the trial. Harry's lawyers have said that they are "disappointed" by the judge's decision, but that they will continue to pursue their case against Murdoch.

Meanwhile, Harry has been granted permission to serve Murdoch with legal papers. This means that Murdoch will have to respond to the allegations against him, and could potentially be called to give evidence in court.
