Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Eggs Sickens Dozens in WI, MN
What Happened?
Dozens of people in Wisconsin and Minnesota have been sickened in a salmonella outbreak linked to eggs. The outbreak began in early July and has since spread to both states.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating the outbreak and has advised people to avoid eating raw or undercooked eggs.
Symptoms of Salmonella
Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause food poisoning. Symptoms of salmonella infection include:
