Fugitive Wanted in Connection with Fatal Shooting

Antonio "El Diablo" Riano, a Mexican national who has been one of America's Most Wanted fugitives for the past 20 years, has been arrested in Mexico. Riano was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Houston nightclub in December 2004.

Riano was arrested on August 6, 2024, in the Mexican city of Tijuana. He was booked into the San Diego County Jail on a first-degree murder charge.

Riano is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Benjamin Becerra outside a Houston nightclub on December 12, 2004. Becerra was shot multiple times in the head and chest.

Riano fled the United States after the shooting and has been on the run ever since. He has been featured on America's Most Wanted and has been the subject of an international manhunt.
